Yesterday, during the fourth and final day of Food Security Solutions, I participated in the family gardens workshop — a hands-on training opportunity during which a small group of coffee farmers and folks like me turned a flat pitch of ground into a vegetable garden that will produce a steady supply of leafy greens and vegetables.
I was delighted to run across your site today. As I am trying to see how I could teach families in Nicaragua how to grow food. You have given me great encouragement. The people I have seen in Nicaragua are eating from the garbage.
This just breaks my heart.
